Introduction

This Privacy Policy governs how Casa de Baile Klubi MTÜ (hereinafter "Casa de Baile") collects and processes personal data, and how cookies are used on the website www.casadebaile.ee and other associated sites.

NB! By using Casa de Baile’s services and/or website, the user consents to the processing of their data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

Definitions

  • Personal Data: Information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a private individual, collected and processed by Casa de Baile to fulfill a contract (verbal or written), establish contact, or meet legal obligations.

  • Processing of Personal Data: Any operation performed with personal data – collection, handling, storage, correction, or deletion.

  • Non-Personal Data: Data that cannot be linked to a specific individual.

  • Users: All individuals who visit the website, use Casa de Baile’s services, or provide information to Casa de Baile in any form (e.g. browsing, ordering services, emailing, joining mailing lists verbally or online, phone calls, etc.).

  • Services: All paid and free products and services offered by Casa de Baile, including classes, courses, parties, and events.

 

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

Personal data may be collected through:

  • Submission of contact details (e.g. name, date of birth, address, phone, email) in person, on the website, or at events.

  • Website usage via cookies, Google Analytics, and Facebook Pixel.

  • Feedback surveys or email responses.

  • Purchases made in person, at events, or in the webshop (contact details, preferences, etc.).

  • Participation in classes and events.

  • Photo and video material created during classes, events, or group photos.

 

Collection of Non-Personal Data

Casa de Baile also collects non-personal data about user activity on the website or from surveys. This data is aggregated and used to improve user experience and determine which content, services, and products are most engaging. Aggregated data is considered non-personal and cannot be linked to individual users.

 

Use of Personal Data

Casa de Baile uses personal data to:

  • Provide smooth and comprehensive services (e.g. determining dance level, tracking attendance).

  • Send notifications via email (course updates, new classes and events, relevant offers).

  • Create and manage contracts, communicate with users, and issue invoices.

  • Publish photo and video content (in our premises, advertising, website, social media).
    Note: If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please notify us at the time of filming or photography.

Casa de Baile uses non-personal data to:

  • Improve website usability and optimize marketing.

  • Enhance service quality and user experience.

  • Create marketing campaigns and promotional content.

Users have the right to opt out of data processing at any time, unless required for contract fulfillment or service delivery. Withdrawal of consent has no retroactive effect.

 

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

Third parties are Casa de Baile’s service providers who assist in delivering services, such as:

  • Class organization (e.g. Bonpoint OÜ)

  • Email delivery software

  • Website and CRM hosting

  • Website analytics tools

  • Social media platforms and analytics

  • Business and marketing analytics software

  • Photo/video editing, publishing, and storage services

  • Venue rental services

  • Accounting software and services

Casa de Baile may also share user data with other partners only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Casa de Baile will not disclose personal data to third parties unrelated to service provision.

 

Data Retention and Security

Personal data is stored as long as necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law. For example, accounting records are kept for 7 years after the end of the fiscal year. Email addresses in the newsletter list are stored until the user requests removal.

Casa de Baile takes all reasonable measures to protect personal data. Only authorized personnel may access or modify personal data, and all user data is treated as confidential.

 

User Rights

Users have the right to:

  • Request access to their data

  • Request correction, supplementation, or deletion under legal conditions

  • Request restriction of data processing

  • Request data portability

To exercise these rights, users must send a request to info@tantsukeskus.ee.
Requests must be verifiable (e.g. from a registered email address, digitally signed, or in person). Casa de Baile may respond within 30 days.

To unsubscribe from newsletters, users can use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails. This link is not included in personal emails between Casa de Baile and users.

To limit cookie use, users can change browser settings.

If a user believes their data rights have been violated, they may contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
